Alright, first thing's first. Siggraph. In a nutshell, it's convention devoted to showcasing new technology in the digital arts world. I haven't attended one in two years due to location, but luckily my dad noticed an email in the midst of his spam and immediately followed through. Being the Siggraph guru that he is, he scored us free exhibition hall passes.

Stuff that rocked.

-A 240 hz display, I kid you not.

-Wacom's new Cintiq which twists and tilts.

-Manga Studio 3 EX + Meeting Lincy Chan. (She's nice XD)

-Activision's random prize throwing.

-Meeting someone that actually played the NWN series.

Stuff that sucked.

-I'll be honest, the Pirates of the Caribbean MMO looks like crap.

-Nvidia's booth seemed a little underwhelming this year.

-Once again, I didn't get my own 'draw on the back' shirt.

Overall, good, quick and hilarious experience.

Now, the MMO. Granado Espada (ge.iahgames.com/en) has officially released its business model. Breaking it down, it costs $6.30 per month with bonus cash shop points, so you don't have to pay extra to be truly competitive. GE was good enough as a standard MMO, but now it's even better as a budget game. REJOICE!
